   After I installed updates for Windows XP 5.1 Service Pack 3 I am not able to wake computer from sleep mode. I have to shut down and restart. Any suggestions?

   what kind of computer do you have and what are the specs...
   I had a similar problem and had to go to HP's website and install an update there before sp3 would work.
