Computer Wont Turn On

Here's the deal:
Put my computer into hibernation on friday night. Window is closed (my computer is right by a window). Leave the house. Come back Saturday afternoon. It's been raining all night and day. Find the window OPEN
It hasn't rained in from what I can tell, but the entire room is damp from the wet air.
Goto turn on my computer, it wont turn on.
The psu switch in the rear lights up, and the little green light on the motherboard lights up, so I assume the psu and mb are ok?

Does anyone have a step by step procedure they would suggest for me to go through to check why it;s not turning on?

I checked all the internal power connections and none seemed loose.
Not really sure what else to do...

Could exposure to moist air like that ruin anything?

specs if they help: custom self-built - windows xp pro 64-bit, 300gb seagate hdd, 2gb gelil ram, asus p5wd2 mb, Pentium 4 prescott 3.0ghz cpu, nvidia geforce 7800gtx, creative audigy2 zs platinum pro soundcard.

 

When you press your power button:

Do you hear fans come on?
Do you hear any beeps?

 

nope, absolutley nothing happens

 

Well, problem solved!

Not entirely sure what happened, but I just tried it now and it turned on like normal. Very odd. I guess maybe it WAS moisture in the system b.c I opened it up and trained a fan on it for a few hours. Guess that dried it out?
