Computer's Running Slow

I jumped through all the required hoops. Attached are my HijackThis, BitDefender, and Panda scans. Please let me know if there's anything else I can do to speed her up. Also, when is the appropriate time to "Disable System Restore" - now?

You logs show no signs of malware other than one questionable item from Panda.

Panda found the below. Do you know what it is? Is it something related to MSN Video Enhanced?
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Updates\replace.exe[msnve.exe]

As far as your PC running slow, my first guess would be the Symantec software you have installed is slowing you down. We have seen this many times.

When you say slow, what is it that is slow? Bootup? Surfing? All general PC operations? Is it slow in safe mode too?

I have no idea what the one questionable item (MSN Video?) is. I'm sure I don't need it. How do I erase it?

My computer is slower in bootup and in surfing than it used to be. It is very slow in safe mode, though I don't remember it ever being particularly fast in safe mode either.

I did just recently install Symantec anti-virus software. Is there anything I can do (besides removing the software) to get things moving faster?

Also, when do I do the "Disable System Restore"?

Boot into safe mode and use Windows Explorer to delete the below file:

C:\Program Files\Common Files\Updates\replace.exe

Did that work?
