Concerned about running a file

    I listen to this internet radio (www.live365.com) station and they tell me for CD quality sound download there MP-3 player. Well i downloaded it then scanned it with Virus Total and Prevx1 found it to be malicious. Every other engine deemed it safe. Is it safe to run? It won't let me upload it here but i will provide link maybe someone can analyis is for me. Thanks!

    From the looks of it, I would say it is safe. Your reports are probably due to the program "calling home" and they find that suspicious. :)

    Tim thanks for replying...but just out of curiousity, from looking at it, what makes you say it's safe?

    Also what does "calling home" mean?

    At the bottom of the page you linked:

    I am assuming that (like your anti-virus and other programs) it returns data when it is used. It probably checks music licenses.....
