would already be protected from this malware. Having all of your updates for Windows and other programs and following other tips like disabling autorun (just one example) will go a long way towards preventing this infection and many others.



Notes:

• This actual infection recently name conficker by McAfee and others as been getting removed in our forum since Oct or Nov of last year. It is not new. We have been removing the hidden driver/service and associated DLL and other files for almost 4 months now.
• One very noticeable symptom is that a PC will become so slow that almost nothing appears to work. When first rebooted, a PC may have internet browsing ability but after a few minutes, browsing is almost impossible since the infection is using up all of your bandwidth sending TCP/IP packets. This makes it impossible to download or update anything.
