    Hi,

Not sure if this belongs in networking or belongs here. I think it belongs here...

I have a HP 1012 printer that is hooked up to a Windows 98 machine. I've shared it, but none of the other computers on the network (all running XP home and pro) can print from it. The error message is that the wrong printer driver is being used on the "server." My machine This particular printer has different printer drivers depending upon the operating system used.

So, for other machines to print to that printer...would they need to have printer drivers installed on their machine for XP? Or would the Win98 have to have both sets of drivers? Is that even possible?

    Monica
