Connecting to campus WiFi from long range

I live right off of my university's campus:

The blue is the range that the WiFi will work in. It'd be great if I could connect to the uni's WiFi and have access to my files and such.

I'm planning to build a WiFi antenna or Wokfi like this:

First of all will this work?

Second question. If I have a desktop, laptop, Xbox, and iPhone how do get the above connection to work will all of them?

Hmm, you need good line of sight, probably a wireless router (to connect your machines and the antenna) and a good antenna, read this article, it may fill in some of the gaps for you.

I don't want to build a radio WiFi antenna. That's too complicated. I want to build a WokFi as seen in this link

It's a lot easier to make.

A simplified question: How do I let four different devices share a single USB WiFi adapter?

That's why I suggested the router and antenna option.
