Hello, I just have a simple inquiry.

I currently have a Wireless DSL Modem (Qwest, woo. .), as internet service. My second PC doesn't have a wireless card. Now, I was wondering if I bought a Wireless Router, and hooked the ethernet cable from the router to the computer (or anything else) would the internet service connect correctly? or is this going to end up more complicated than it sounds?

There would be no advantage to that, a wireless card for the second pc should be cheaper than a router. ed

I'm sure it would, but that doesn't answer my question. . I'm buying a router tomorrow anyways considering I need to be able to keep my game systems, and PC online most of the time.

I am not familar with that modem, i would think that modem is serving as a router now, if your second pc dosent have a wireless card all the wireless routers will be of no use, can you hard wire out of the modem? No a router is not a wireless card. ed
