Connection Issues (Post-Hijacker Removal)

Removed an about:blank hijacker a couple of weeks ago...since then sporadic loss of connectivity (connection starts slow, then stops entirely before anything can fully load). Repeated scans show no infestation, but until today, running CC Cleaner generally provided a temporary fix.

Now, no apparent remedy. I have a connection at the moment but don't expect it will last past this session. Have read/run everything in "Read this first" and "No About Blank Posts." Have taken the libery of posting an HJ log.

    Thank you for your wizardry...

Big Fix has always been a waste of space...would you recommend deleting it via HJ or the uninstall function?

But as to the larger problem, it's quite recent and very dramatic (complete stoppage of an apparently normal DSL connection), and i've had BF as long as I've had the computer, so I'm thinking that wouldn't be it...anything else on the log look unusual to you? Is it possible that I deleted something essential during the battle w/ about:blank?

I would uninstall BF and also fix the other crap (CFD.EXE). And see what happens?

Also check out the below process and the links I give below them for info. They are all problems:

I ditched Big Fix, CFC and another Broadjump product called Motive SmartBridge. High hopes but so far no luck. Same symptoms. Would appreciate any further suggestions and if I don't reply (hopefully I will) it's because of the connection issues...

OK, I'm back, and things are once again smooth post restarting and some additional cleaning. Kind of a mystery, but I do suspect that the MotiveSB and CFD.exe were to blame. Thanks very much for the help!
