Hi, have a network with around 15 pieces of kit hanging off a mixture of wired and wirelesss.. Two of the computers are causing an issue, first a laptop on wireless and the other a hardwired desktop... All of them have been set to their own static IPs... but still get intermitted server drops on them... used to have the same problem with the main computer in use, but found changing the TCP / IPv4 to obtain a specific DNS worked but unfortunately tried this with the other computer but it did not have the same effect...

So Comp 1: (one now working)
    Prefered DNS : 8.8.8.8
    Alternate DNS : 8.8.4.4

    Comp 2:

    Prefered DNS 8.8.8.8
    Alternate DNS 8.8.6.6

As an example of what I tried. Is this correct?

Any other suggestions of what I can try? Thanks for the help.

Are all of your devices running Static or are some running DHCP?
