Hi geeks. I have a kinda old HPP desktop with Windows ME, 512megs (maxed out from the original 64mg), and 15gig HD. I run Ad Aware SE, AVG, Spybot S&D, a-squared, and Superantispyware. I always launch them from desktop icon. If i were to remove my desktop icons and launch my apps from the start menu, would i save significant resources, or would it be pretty much negligible? I know someone will reply, so thanks.
