Constant hard drive spin when internet explorer loads

    When ever I load Internet Explorer my hard drive spins constantly and ceases when I close IE. Wasn't a problem several months ago. Haven't loaded anything new. My first thread on this site was a fantastic help..thought I would try another one and end this annoyance or problem. Any ideas would be appreciated.
