    Kind People

I come in search of help after much trouble J

My system keeps crashing - every time I go online. I get the blue crash screen with the ‘A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down etc etc’ messasge with an every changing series of numbers in the tech info section.

I use a Dell Inspiron 1525 with XP SP3, a wireless connection using a Linksys router plus signal booster.

The problem began with an CTMBLL error message on start up (which no longer appears) and then a crash after going online - sometimes after 5 minutes, other times after hours.

I have run the cleanup procedurebut I'm not sure about Malwarebytes which I could not run in either safe or normal mode - however I have a log so something happened. Root Repeal ran but gave an error message ‘Error - end of indexes is past block: on-disck corruption detected, run chkdsk!’ I could not update Java as the system keeps crashing during this procedure too and therefore I have not removed the latest Java update on the pc.

I’ve attached the logs I have here -any help would be very much appreciated before I have a breakdown myselfJ

    Hopefully
    Polly

No that's a HijackThis log which we did not ask for. You need to attach the log that was requested which is C:\MGlogs.zip

You also need to delete MGtools.exe from the below location because that is not where we asked you to put it.
    C:\Documents and Settings\Pauline Fyfe\Desktop\Cleanup Help\MGtools.exe

Your crashing may not have anything to do with malware based on your other logs; however, you are way out of date with your version of SUPERAntiSpyware.
    • Please uninstall your current version (this is necessary).
    • Then download this SUPERAntiSpyware
    • Install this new version. It may tell you that you need to reboot to complete the installation. You must reboot at this time.
    • After the reboot, run SUPERAntiSpyware and immediately click the Check for Updates button to get more updates for the database.
    • Now run a new full scan of your system. And attach this new log.
Also you are way out of date with Malwarebytes. Now run Malwarebytes and click the Update tab. Then click the Check for Updates button so you update to the current version of the program and database. Then run a new scan with it too. Attach the new log.
