Please take a look at these logs from my daughter's 2-week old laptop.
She accepted an e-mail from a friend through MSN, and from then on her browser connection kept diverting to gllod.exe, and then to whatever site it pleased. I did a few anti-spyware checks and thought I'd fixed it, but her internet connection still keeps cutting out at random moments.

Root Repeal would not run, although her operating system is 32-bit. It said there was an IO error.

    Many thanks.

Please find attached jpeg of why root repeal wouldn't run.

There are no malware problems showing in any of your logs. Are you still really having problems?

Did you setup the below policy for UAC?

The only thing I did for UAC was as mentioned in the READ ME FIRST note (to turn it all off, and then later turn it all on again).

    :confused
Not sure if you are suggesting I should do this policy you're showing, or if you've found it in the logs and are asking if I made it happen?

Either way, I have no idea how to do it, so if I need to, can you please let me know how?

She only has problems with the internet when she is chatting to friends on MSN - the internet connection keeps cutting out. I installed Firefox and diverted her internet access to this, from IE, which seemed to help, but unsure if her computer is clean any more.

It is set how I showed and it is not even a valid value. See: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc232762%28PROT.13%29.aspx

Someone changed it! Even the value for Administrators is changed from the default of 2 to 0 to not prompt admins. Perhaps your daughter changed them since she is the admin user account.

It does not appear to be malware and changing to FF from IE would not improve anything with MSN. Perhaps you need to checkout network issues. Is this a wireless connection?
