contrast problem with Intel R Extreme Graphics 2

For some reason the contrast keeps popping up in the middle of my screen, and when I try and exit out it comes back on and runs the whole contrast controls runs back and forth. When I exit it comes back up and changes the contrast lighter and darker and stays on 100 for a little while and then starts changing back and forth all over again, as well as the degauss etc... Hope someone can explain it to me. :confused

Hi

Would this be the contrast settings from your Graphic Card or your Monitor? If monitor what make and model is it?

Which Windows version are you using?

Have you tried to update your graphic card drivers ( you will need to knwo the chipset thats used in your PC to gain the correct driver, to find this you can use Everest and then once installed and run click Computer > Summary and next to Motherboard chipset is the chipset name ) to see if that changes anything, if its the monitor settings that are on screen then graphics drivers wont help.

How old is your monitor? could be on its way out, do check connectors are firmly connected from monitor to graphic card, even with PC off, unplug and re-plug them in to double check.

If your monitor settings menu has a reset to default/factory settings try that.
