Can someone help.

My wife downloaded this prog and put a password on it.
It was only a trail run and now we can not open or uninstall.

IF I CAN SORT IT CAN ANYONE RECOMENED A BETTER ONE CHEERS.

The progam is called control kids. I am running xp pro.

How do I uninstall the program ?
The only way to uninstall the program is to uninstall it by pressing the key: uninstall. From the program. You cannot uninstall it from the ad/remove programs panel.
you may have to contact them for further support on how to remove it when you've lost your password.

But it asks for a password. Which it will not accept i have emailed but no reply this was over a week ago now.

 

that's typically a problem with software like that. I don't know enough about what it did to embed to help you and their support documents.. well, apparently they don't value support at all as I couldn't find more than 3 items in the FAQ.

have you tried using a blank password?
have you tried to use the proper letter case: some passwords are case sensitive.

what can you do with your pc?
can you log on ok?

are you willing to back up your data and reformat your machine if the software can't be removed successfully?

i can use my comp but i have to mess about with it first to get full use. it is just a pain in the neck. i will look in to formating but it will be my first time.
