    Hi Major Geek.

How can I control the soundlevel individualy, when I have several programs running ?? I would like to hear music, without any ''beeps'' from my online chessplayer. (I can't get rid off the sound from the chessplayer-program.)

Unfortunately in XP this isn't possible, unless you can mute audio in the application - assuming both sounds are streamed to the WaveOut channel (which they probably are). This functionality is however going to be in Vista (the next version of Windows)

    Hi again.

Thanks for your answer - not what I had been hoping for - I'll look forward to a new Windows-version.
