I have asked this question a long time ago and I received a response but neither helped me convert the CDFS to PDF or TIFF. When I use media convert or another free online program, they say no extensions but that can't be since all files have extensions. Could it be the CD was not finalized and therefore unreadable? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,

Compact Disk File System. I figured it out. What I did was dragged the documents (which when I tried earlier to convert said had no extensions.) into Adobe Reader 7.0. They opened. Then I saved them using the Adobe and now they are true PDFs and canbe opened and viewed. I can also save as TIFF format.

I thought of this way of converting when I remembered I had an audio CD that had the same extension. What I did with those was open Sound Recorder and dragged the clips into that program. Sure enough, they were now audible and I could save as .wav file.

Thanks for the help! I guess I just needed to think it through a bit more. That's where you guys help me the most. With your site, I challenge myself to think a bit harder just to keep up. Hope this helps someone else out there.
