Convert VVF to avi or another video format?

I am using a Q-see QSD004-250. Same issue with .vvf files. I ended up
connecting a VCR between the DVR and the TV monitor. That way I can just record what's need to a VHS tape. I found copying to a USB stick was not that reliable, and it probably takes just as long as copying to tape. If I do want to record a segment, I copy all 4 cameras together first, then copy each camera seperatly to tape, so they are in full screen. VCR's & tapes are dirt cheap from a thrift shop if you don't have a couple lying around already.
You could also connect a DVD recorder, or a video capture card to your PC.

Tied it, it does not work with .v v f files.

 

Did you try the link to the player I posted below? It works fine with VVF files.
