converter box remote

i recently switched over to the rca converter box for my tv needs. it's been a week now and all of a sudden my remote takes a dump. tried going to the rcaav site to see if they could help me with this problem. they said it would be their pleasure to tell me" what was up". all for the nominal cost of $30.00. thats close to a third of what i paid for the box. sure would be appreciative if anyone out ther in cyberland could help me out with this annoying problem.

 

For $30, you can get a decent universal remote.

 

Now, if you want something that does macros, etc, you are looking at more than $100.
