cookies

So...
I remove AdSubPro for a short time while debugging an internet problem (a site was shutting me out, wouldn't recognize my PW)
In the subsequent 20 min or so on line, 19 of the usual suspects left cookies on this system, 24 if you count the ones that left 2.
All had been blocked by +-Pro.
BTW, I was surfing, through a few on-line mags (Slate, Weekly Standard, The Nation, etc), not pr0n sites.

And of MG keeps sending me that CommFlash ad for Curvesa(sp?).........

 

The only thing I get from MG other than the ID cookie that lets me post here is the Tribal Fusion cookie, and Ad-aware identifies that as a tracking cookie, so I've blocked it in the browser I'm using now (so tribalfusion can't set a cookie of any kind), and there seems to be no problem. I don't mind the ads that show on MG. Somebuddy's gotta pay for this service -- the forums and the software site.
