Im not sure if this is the right forum or not but sometimes while surfing MajorGeeks my computer runs really slow and sometimes it overheats. I have included a picture of my computer and would appreciate it if anyone could give me some advice on how to fix my problem before my Dad finds out I have been modding his computer again!!!!

    Thanks in advance!!!!!!! http://forums.majorgeeks.com/images/smilies/smile.gif http://forums.majorgeeks.com/images/smilies/rolleyes.gif http://forums.majorgeeks.com/images/smilies/cool.gif http://forums.majorgeeks.com/images/smilies/tongue.gif http://forums.majorgeeks.com/images/smilies/wink.gif http://forums.majorgeeks.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif http://forums.majorgeeks.com/images/smilies/confused.gif http://forums.majorgeeks.com/images/smilies/redface.gif http://forums.majorgeeks.com/images/smilies/eek.gif http://forums.majorgeeks.com/images/smilies/frown.gif http://forums.majorgeeks.com/images/smilies/mad.gif

I see you have the new bear drive. As I understand it, they are kind of flaky drives and tend to get sluggish in the cold weather and eventually won't come out of hibernation for months.

Everything else looks okay though ;)

If you take it off the floor it may run cooler :)

Everything looks good except i do not see any Articsilver 5 on that bear could lower temps.

If you swap the volt meter with the mouse you will prolly get better air flow which should help the temps come down.

You might want to some more research and see if that is the proper heatsink for that processor!! I hear they can be a real bear!!!  ;)

Ziptie the multimeter to the back of the modem (if thats what it is..) to do the old piggyback trick, and the CCU (Central Cuddley Unit) should be tied to the drive 5 1/4" drive bay for optimum performance. And round the IDE cable if you can :D

It's just like Christmas - You're not a real Internet user unless you really feel the significance of April Fools and live your online life with the meaning of April Fools in mind :p

A sense of humour is for life, not just for April Fools :p

well done, you've replaced puppy with "sense of humour". I think you've just ironically disproven your own joke. oh well!
