    I'll say that I'm not proficient in computer files.

    I downloaded HijackThis.

    Here's the log.

    Any help would be appreciated, before I heave myself (and this computer) off of a high building.

    Please follow the instructions in the below link and attach the requested logs when you finish these instructions. If something does not run, write down the info to explain to us later but keep on going. Do not assume that because one step does not work that they all will not. Make sure that you disable Spybot's Teatimer as requested in the instructions. Also, if your copy of Spy Sweeper is only a trial program, uninstall it now before running anything. The same goes for Spyware Doctor....uninstall now if it is a free trial program.
