    2 seperate questions please.

    1. I have pictures on my camera I took of a family event, I do not want to use the computer or any program (photobucket) to send them. I want them on some sort of storage to mail as a gift. Any idea what to use and how to do it?

    2. I have a cd which I was given that has family history on it. I want to do the same thing as above, copy the info and mail it out to family. What is the best item to use (CD, Memory stick...) and how would you suggest doing this?

Thanks for all the help. (as always)

    Hi

    1. Without using a PC to create a CD or CD slideshow of the images then your only route is to take the cameras memory card into a store that has the likes of a Kodak Digital Picture Kiosk or similar (Fuji Frontier machines can do this also if a store near you has one) as they can produce CDs of your images (did do last time I used one)

    2. If you are not wanting as in scenario 1 to use a PC to not do this then your pretty much out of luck, but if you do use a PC, then its easy, just use a CD burning applicaion CDBurnerXP is Free and copy the CD or copy the contents to a USB pen, can use this option for scenario 1.

I think I worded my question wrong even though you answered it.

I thought if I have a CD and want to make a CD I could not use my computer because I have only one place for a CD. (OMG I am thinking I sound really dumb)

The pictures on the memory card we just took, I did not want to use photobucket or email them because I want to give them as a gift.

It just sounded as if they were creepy pictures or something, hence not wanting to use a computer to send.

    Thanks for the help!!

    Hi

Wording is crucial at times, but I think we are on same wavelenght now.

No not creepy at all and I totally understand the need not to want to use a medium that other could access online, so yes if you have a CD burner in your PC then you can copy the CD fine, it will read the CDs contents and then tell you to pop in a writable CD.

What Windows version do you have? if Vista and you have a DVD writer in your PC, I have another option in Windows Movie Maker and it can create great sideshows of your images that can be burned onto DVD, so they can be played back in a normal DVD player of the family members TV. Not as easy with XP as some extra software is needed to convert and burn Windows Movie Maker slideshows.

What Burning software do you have on your PC? it may if Nero or Roxio offer a Slideshow option for burning images.
