Hi, my motherboard died on monday, so I am trying to recreate my PC inside a new one. The old one had a twin SATA drive non-RAID, whereas the new one is a twin IDE set as a RAID array, so no HDD swapping.
After cloning the C drive via puppy linux, windows failed to boot properly (kind of expected that) so I have installed a fresh copy of XP onto the new machine.
Can I now clone or "ghost" the old C drive onto the new installation so that it runs the same as the old one? Or am I doomed to reinstall everything?

You are going to have to reinstall everything.

Is it possible just to recover all the printer settings from the old drive then?

Copying over the printer settings is not possible, you'll have to manually re-enter them.
