corrupt downloads

    When i download a file to new machine then install or unzip i get a corrupt file message. if i download and burn to a cd on other machine on same network then i can install from cd. but if i copy the file from the cd to the machine and try to install or unzip i get error message

    any thoughts anyone?

    Try running a chkdsk on the affected system.

    When you download the file from cd to the machine make sure that the file is not read-only. Right click on the file then click properties...make sure the read-only is not check. If so uncheck, then try to install as administrator.
