I have a Toshiba laptop model Satellite l755D. It is a 64 Bit system. It has 4 GB of ram. It has windows 10 home. Last week it started to freeze up and I would have to open task manager then things would be temperarily solved so i could continue. I decided to run sfc /scannow as an administrator and it showed I had corrupt files. So I googled this problem and found several solutions but don't think I should try some of them without help. So here I am asking if anyone can walk me though a fix for this. I did run sfc 3 times. I do not know the end result because I ran the sfc at night. But the computer is still acting up so I just need help. Thanks

I was able to do sfc /scannow and after a couple more times it was able to fix the corrupt files . So thanks to everyone who looked and considered helping me. Thanks again.
