Corrupted "My Documents" Folder

In Windows XP, under "My Computer," there is a folder called My Documents. I've used it for years. Recently, when I double-click on "My Computer," the list of folders now shows "Me's Documents" instead of "My Documents." I've done a file search and a registry search, and no "Me' Documents" is to be found.

When I right-click on "Me's Documents" and check "properties," I notice that the file is still named "My Documents." :confused Something in the program is misreading the name or choosing the wrong letters of the alphabet to represent it.

There is no right-click feature for renaming the folder. I've used everything available for re-setting defaults, etc., but the name on the "My Computer" window still reads "Me's Documents."

    Can someone help with this?

    Thanks.
