    Dear Major Geeks,

Once again I'm requesting your help on this laptop. I ran Malwarebytes yesterday 10/12/13 when we started having problems, log attached. I also created 2 new profiles since the original profile has disappeared and windows creates a temporary profile everytime I tried to sign in with the original profile. Today, I followed all your instructions from the read me section and I'm attaching the logs. Computer is not responding properly and also it seems to be missing windows security center service. I'm very gratefull to all of you and I would appreciate your help.

    Thanks,
    monita

Re run Hitman Pro and have it delete the Potential Unwanted Program.

    http://img805.imageshack.us/img805/9659/rktigzy.gif Fix items using RogueKiller.

Double-click RogueKiller.exe to run. (Vista/7 right-click and select Run as Administrator)
When it opens, press the Scan button
Now click the Registry tab and locate this detection:

    • [Alan][Rans.Gendarm] 8zbjmqdb.lnk : C:\Users\Alan\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup\8zbjmqdb.lnk @C:\Windows\System32\rundll32.exe C:\PROGRA~3\bdqmjbz8.plz,GL300 [-][7][x] -> FOUND

Place a checkmark each of these items, leave the others unchecked.
    Now press the Delete button.
When it is finished, there will be a log on your desktop called: RKreport[2].txt
Attach RKreport[2].txt to your next message. (How to attach)
    Reboot the machine.

Delete these, and let me know how you get on.

    C:\ProgramData\8zbjmqdb.ctrl
    C:\ProgramData\8zbjmqdb.pff
    C:\Users\Alan\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup\8zbjmqdb.lnk

http://imageshack.us/a/img841/7292/thisisujrt.gif Please download Junkware Removal Tool to your desktop.
    • Shut down your protection software now to avoid potential conflicts.
    • Run the tool by double-clicking it. If you are using Windows Vista or Seven, right-mouse click it and select Run as Administrator.
    • The tool will open and start scanning your system.
    • Please be patient as this can take a while to complete depending on your system's specifications.
    • On completion, a log (JRT.txt) is saved to your desktop and will automatically open.
    • Attach JRT.txt to your next message.

    • Re run RogueKiller, just a scan and attach the log.
    • Explain how things are running.

    Dear Kestrel 13!,

Thank you so much for your instructions. I ran Hitman Pro and deleted the Potential Unwanted Program.
I also ran Roguekiller but I didn't delete anything because I don't see the items you mentioned in your instructions. I'm attaching the log from the scan. At this point I decided to wait for your advice before I continue with the rest of your instructions. I hope I made the right decision.
    Forever grateful,

    monita

OK, no worries. Nothing in the RK log to fix. Did you delete those files and also run JRT? :confused

    Dear Kestrel13!

No, I didn't do it. I'm sorry, but when I didn't find the records you mentioned on RogueKiller, I wasn't sure if I was supposed to proceed or not. I'm running Junkware Removal Tool as we speak. As soon as that finishes I will send you the report.

    Thanks again,
    monita

    Dear Kestrel13!,

I'm attaching both the JRT.txt and RogueKiller log. Computer still missing the Windows Security Center Service. Searching for "Services" it took quite a long time. The original profile doesn't seem to exist. When I try to log on with the original profile it takes forever, until it creates everything. Then, when it finally opens I get a message "You have been logged on with a temporary profile".
    :cry
    Please help!
    Thanks,
    monita

Perhaps you should take a look at this and see if any of it is useful/applicable to you.

This is out of the realms of the malware removal forum really. I may have to refer you onto the software forum. :)

    You're welcome. Best of luck.

If you are not having any other malware problems, it is time to do our final steps:
    1. We recommend you keep Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for scanning/removal of malware.
    2. Renable your Disk Emulation software with Defogger if you had disabled it in step 4 of the READ & RUN ME.
    3. Go to add/remove programs and uninstall HijackThis. If you don't see it or it will not uninstall, don't worry about it. Just move on to the next step.
    4. If running Vista, Win 7 or Win 8, it is time to make sure you have reenabled UAC by double clicking on the C:\MGtools\enableUAC.reg file and allowing it to be added to the registry.
    5. Now goto the C:\MGtools folder and find the MGclean.bat file. Double click ( if running Vista, Win7, or Win 8 Right Click and Run As Administrator ) on this file to run this cleanup program that will remove files and folders related to MGtools and some other items from our cleaning procedures.
    6. Any other miscellaneous tools we may have had you install or download can be uninstalled and deleted.

    7. After doing the above, you should work thru the below link:
