I have ran all programs in Read & Run Me First sticky.
I had a brief lapse of common sense and ran a downloaded program. Knew it was trouble when I started getting bombarded with pop-ups. The pop-ups are winantivirus pro, errorsafe, sysprotect, and winsoftware.
I ran ad aware and spybot. Both of these kept shutting down about half way through.
Came here for help and while in safe mode running through Read & Run sticky I kept getting a pop up that I assume was from CounterSpy saying "A start up program requires approval.. attempt being made to add a program to start up registry. c:\winnt\htpatch.exeIndows\currentversion\run (and then lots of symbols&lines)"
CounterSpy did find 2 key loggers and a remote admin tool.
After going through everything in sticky I am still getting spyware removal wizard pop-ups.
Please help me get rid of this mess.

Okay that fixed a load of problems!

Attach new logs from ShowNew and HJT now so we can see what remains.

Please remember that HJT logs must always be from normal boot mode. But be for posting a new one. Run the Virtumonde removal procedure again. You still have some left over. Then attach the log from the procedure again.

Now attach new logs from ShowNew and HJT (in normal boot mode for both logs).

I've ran Vundofix. Hit scan. It scans and does find things. Hit remove vundo and screen goes blue like normal but then this pops up:

"Registry Editor. Can not inport C:\WINNT\VundoFix.reg. Error opening the file. May be a bad disk or file system error."

    Computer then reboots.

I downloaded vundofix again from the link and re-ran it but it still says the same.

    Anyway here is the log

I ran vundofix again after the error and it said nothing was found... Here are the other logs, ran in normal boot mode.

Uninstall the below old versions of software:
    J2SE Runtime Environment 5.0 Update 1
    J2SE Runtime Environment 5.0 Update 2
    Mozilla Firefox (1.5)

Now install the current version of Sun Java from: Sun Java Runtime Environment

Then install the current version of FireFox from: Mozilla Firefox

Continue by downloading a tools we will need- Pocket KillBox

Extract it to its folder somewhere that you will be able to locate it later.

Run HijackThis and select the following lines but DO NOT CLICK FIX until you exit all browser sessions including the one you are reading in right now:

    R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Local Page = C:\windows\system32\blank.htm
    R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Toolbar,LinksFolderName =

    After clicking Fix, exit HJT.

Copy the bold text below to notepad. Save it as fixme.reg to your desktop. Be sure the "Save as" type is set to "all files" Once you have saved it double click it and allow it to merge with the registry.
Now run Pocket Killbox by doubleclicking on killbox.exe
Choose Tools > Delete Temp Files and click Delete Selected Temp Files.
Then after it deletes the files click the Exit (Save Settings) button.
NOTE: Pocket Killbox will only list the added files it is able to find on the system. So when you do the below, if some files do not show in the list after pasting them in, just continue.

    Select:
    • Delete on Reboot
    • then Click on the All Files button.
    • Please copy the file paths below to the clipboard by highlighting ALL of them and pressing CTRL + C (or, after highlighting, right-click and choose copy):

    C:\WINNT\system32\hacjabd.dll
    C:\WINNT\system32\imfhpcgj.dll
    C:\WINNT\system32\zhkzejg.dll
    • Return to Killbox, go to the File menu, and choose Paste from Clipboard.
    • Click the red-and-white Delete File button. Click Yes at the Delete on Reboot prompt.
If you receive a PendingFileRenameOperations prompt, just click OK to continue (But please let me know if you receive this message!).
If Killbox does not reboot just reboot your PC yourself.
After reboot locate the below folder and delete it if found:
    C:\Program Files\Common Files\{CCC80AE9-0516-1033-0618-030308200001}

Also delete all files in the below folders except ones from the current date (Windows will not let you delete the files from the current day).
    C:\WINNT\Temp
    C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Local Settings\Temp

Now attach a the below new logs and tell me how the above steps went.
    1. GetRunKey
    2. ShowNew
    3. HJT

Make sure you tell me how things are working now!

Things are running alot better. Startup doesn't take 10mins anymore.

Went through and did everything you wanted.

When I tried to delete everything in C:\winnt\temp it was already empty.
When I tried to delete C:\Doc&Setting\Admin|Local Settings\Temp there are 3 files ~DFDC94,~DFDD53,and ~DFF1F6 that wouldnt delete. Says: cannot delete...there has been a sharing violation. source or destination may be in use.

    Here are new logs.

Your logs are clean. If you are not having any other malware problems, it is time to do our final steps:
    1. If we used Pocket Killbox during your cleanup, do the below
      • Run Pocket Killbox and select File, Cleanup, Delete All Backups
    2. If we had you download any registry patches like fixme.reg or fixWLK.reg (or any others), you can delete these files now.
    3. If you are running Windows XP or Windows ME, do the below:
      • go back to step 8 of the READ & RUN ME to Disable System Restore which will flush your Restore Points.
      • Then reboot and enable System Restore to create a new clean Restore Point.
    4. After doing the above, you should work thru the below link:
