cox speed question

    hi im in texas near the ok border

    and i heard oklahoma has cox internet and thier speed is 9 meg and i was wondering why we havnt got this speed yet

    i wouldnt mind paying extra for it if it ends up being more expensive i just think we should have that speed too

    Have you called the support or sales service for Cox? sometimes depends on infastructure and if it can cope with the speed increase, ISPs in the UK at least tend to check areas for demand ( hence the advice to call the ISP and ask ) and update those first.



    either that or run a very long Cat5e cable across the border :D ;)

    Seriously tho MOUMANTAI, do give Cox sales dept a call and ask why you havnt got 9mb and if not when will they be upgrading your area.


    I'm still waiting for my local exchange to be upgraded to ADSL2+, which now looks like June, till then I'm on 1mb.

    im definetly gonna ask them why they dont have 9 m in my area i know im in a smallish town but i think we should get 9 meg too ya know
