CPU fan won't slow down

PWM Start Temp(0~100)
Start PWM Value(0~127)
Slope PWM Value(0~15)
Delta Temp(0~31)

what should i set these to?

i'm gonna keep the computer on 24/7 so i need it to be quite when i sleep & to previde good cooling when playing games

 

Tell you what it will be assumed that these are BIOS settings? WTF does PWM mean and I will provide a better answer.

From coarse research PWM is associated with power consumption (conservation) and or regularity. It seems implied that the Delta will be the parameter of interest as it will be the corrective measure for the waves. Obviusly it will depend on desired activity of the system and the importance of regularity. As components will significantly vary on the micro level it will be important to sample the system of interest and model Delta from this.

Keep in mind that your fan has to have a 4 pin connector to be controlled, if it is 3 pin it will run at full speed all the time, Bold Eagle, what did you say? lol. ed

 

yeah it is a 4 pin connected to the CPU-FAN
