I bought a 2500+ AMD XP, and everytime i goto my properties i see 1.1 ghz, instead of what its suppose to be(1.8)

So i checked out everything and it seems that my fsb is set at 100 mhz and
the voltz are only set at 1.616.

When i try to change the fsb in my bios wont let me..its just black, and i cant do anything to it.

    Any advice?

Sounds like jumper to me too!
Your MOBO manual should have jumper settings.

After ya set, then in bios make sure your CPU Multiplier is set to 11. and FSB for cpu is set to 166 (xp2500 run's 1833Mhz (11 x 166)
might check make sure memory is running at correct FSB too, pc2700 =166, pc3200 200fsb
Mem timings that depends on brand and quality, should be auto setting too, or SPD

If you cant find jumpers go to manufacture web or post exact brand and model here.
    Good Luck!

My laptop with XP-M 2800+ does the same thing. However if you check the properties at idle, it shows the full 2.12 Ghz. If it is "thinking", it will never show the full 2.12.
