For the last 2 months or so, my HP laptop has been working randomly working overtime, something I can notice by the fan's speed behavior. I thought it was clogged by dust, and I cleaned it up all around ,Did seem to help, but not so sure as I most often wear noise cancelling headphones.

BUT TODAY it was doing it more than usual and I looked up the Task Manager and this thing called thromboplastin.exe was seemingly the culprit going over 88% while there was nothing at all running on my computer... I disabled it, but have no idea what it is, because there is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING on google about this... Weird.

Plus the Properties says it's located in a folder that doesn't even exist! (ProgramData/tublo) tublo being my user name. There is only one ecisting tublo folder but it's in my Users foldr where you,d expect it to be.

So any idea what this is? Can I delete/remove it? And most importantly HOW, cause I can't find it! And yes, I have the hidden files checked, so I can see them.

Properties seen from the Task Manager.

    Hi Wile e coyote!

You are absolutely right! Got rid of it with Malwarebytes. Don't know why I didn't check before posting... Probably because I had done a scan somewhat recently and didn't think it could be related. Hopefully I won't find anything else! Much thanks!!!

    Few more questions:

-How could I have gotten this (or this particular one) in my computer?

-Is it a fairly new Trojan? Not finding any info on Google is surprising, isn't it?

-And why I still can't find a Tublo subfolder in my ProgramDate folder? Is is supposed to be hidden even when hidden files are checked to be viewed?

For anyone interested here's where they were actually located:

    It's difficult to even guess.
While there are plenty of results for thromboplastin, I can't find thromboplastin.exe or thromboplastin malware with DuckDuckGo or Startpage. Also, there are no results on Should I Remove It?

Yes, that's what I meant by not finding it as a virus, e.g. not a regular word. At least it could be solved quickly!

If other people eventually gets it too, chances the searches will lead directly to this thread!
