Noticed that my computer was running a little sluggish and after checking the cpu activity I noticed that its idle quite a bit higher than usual. It used to idle at about 4 % or less and now its idling at about 25-30% and when I'm running a program it spikes to about 77% which I've never seen. Thanks in advance for your help.

There are no signs of malware in your logs. I suggest that you post in the Software Forum.

Thanks for the quick response. Good to hear that I don't have anything going on on this pc. I did however figure out what is killing my cpu. Seems that google chrome is running 9 different processes for some reason and they were running pretty high. I cleared cache and ran ccleaner but it didn't help. So I uninstalled chrome with Revo uninstaller so I could clear everything properly. I then reinstalled chrome and when I started it up again, it went nuts. It was worse than before, process climbed very fast, maxed out cpu at 100% and chrome crashed. I uninstalled chrome again and I don't plan on reinstalling it until I figure out what's going on. I'll post this in software section as you recommended. Thank you for your time and help.

You're welcome. Tabbed browsers ( like Chrome ) will open up an additional process each time another tab is create. And when you first open the browser there are already at least two tabs even though one may just be a default page. Thus for 9 processes of chrome.exe, you may have had 8 tabs loaded and one default newtab tab.

Do you have problems when you use just Internet Explorer? What about with Firefox which I saw you had installed?

It looks like Chrome is by far the worst one. Second place is firefox but it hovers between 25-50% if I got multiple tabs open, which is higher than I'm used to seeing. I mean I'm not an expert on CPU usage/load, I don't have the best Processor but I don't have the worst (i5 2500k) so the fact that the processor is running anywhere near 50% and maxing out at 100% with nothing more the an internet browser just seems wrong to me. I used to play Battlefield on the second to highest setting with no problems. Explorer hovers around 20-25%. The odd thing I noticed though while checking all this is that for the first 5 minutes after starting my pc it hovers between like 5-15%, then I open a browser and it hovers anywhere between 25%-50% for about 45 minutes, doesn't matter if I close all browsers and open and close other programs it still stays in that area. After the 45 minutes It drops down and hovers around 5% - 17% even if I open explorer and a bunch of tabs, if I open firefox it hovers around 25% but it doesn't go any higher.

I'm still not thinking that this is a malware problem, but let's run a few more tools just to be on the safe side. Also maybe we will pickup on some other issue with Windows. I also wonder if uninstalling Avast ( only as a test ) and rebooting would change anything too.

Please download AdwCleaner by Xplode and save to your Desktop.
    • Right click onAdwCleaner.exe and select Run As Administrator unless running Windows XP where you should just double click to run the tool.
Vista/Windows 7/8/10 users right-click and select Run As Administrator
    • Accept any prompts for permission to run and then click the I agree button to accept the Terms of Use
    • Click on the Scan button.
    • AdwCleaner will begin...be patient as the scan may take some time to complete.
    • After the scan has finished, you may just see a popup stating that no malicious programs were found. Just click OK to continue.
    • Now click the LogFile button and the report will open in Notepad.
(AdwCleaner[R#].txt) will open in Notepad for review (where the largest value of # represents the most recent report).
    • The contents of the log file may be confusing. Unless you see a program name that you know should not be removed, don't worry about it. If you see an entry you want to keep, let me know about it.
    • Attach the logfile to your next next reply.
    • A copy of all logfiles are saved in the C:\AdwCleaner folder which was created when running the tool.

Now run the below procedure and attach the log.

    Malwarebytes Anti-Rootkit - Running

Now please download the latest version of FRST the below link.

Farbar Recovery Scan Tool and save it to your Desktop.

Note: Make sure you download the proper version ( 32 bit or 64 bit ) for your PC. Only one will run, the correct one. So it you make a mistake and download the wrong one, go back and get the other.
    • Double-click to run it. When the tool opens click Yes to disclaimer.
    • Press Scan button.
    • It will make a log (FRST.txt) in the same directory the tool is run. Please attach it to your next reply.
    • The first time the tool is run, it makes also another log (Addition.txt). Please attach it to your reply.

I ran AdwCleaner and it seemed to run properly, the only thing is it didn't give me any results at the end, good or bad. No popups either. With Malwarbytes rootkit as soon as clicked to open it, the popup that I attached came up. I went through and ran the scan anyway and it didn't crash, it said everything was clean. With FRST, Comodo Firewall kept popping up every 2 seconds during most of the scan even after I disabled it. I think it still ran ok.

These logs are clean too. I suggest that you test uninstall Avast and maybe Comodo too to test how things behave without them installed. Other than that, I would suggest that you post in the Software Forum to hunt down what other programs may be cause you issues.

Maybe also check out what the below program is doing. When did you install this?

    VIRTU 1.2.104 (HKLM\...\VIRTU_is1) (Version: 1.2.104 - Lucfidlogix Technologies LTD)

Ah I figured out where it came from. It seems Virtu Lucidlogix was included in my Asrock z68 Motherboard driver set. The odd thing is that the program on my computer does not have the correct spelling for some reason its "LucFidlogix". I'm not sure if this means the file is currupted? I upgraded my SSD on 07/24/2015 and did a clean install of windows. This program shows up along side all the other drivers/programs that I installed on that same date. Here are screenshots of the drivers included with my motherboard and what the file is supposed to look like, which is on the install disk. http://i1142.photobucket.com/albums/n602/ironrhino86/Lucid%20Virtu_zpsjw8t4ipd.jpg

One other thing i was curious about. I have an Autorun file saved on my Desktop for some reason. Not sure if I accidentally moved it there or where it came from. It is called "IZ-PC.arn". Iz-pc being the name of my pc. Should i move this file or delete it?

    Hi there Rippinazz,

Chaslang is away for about a week, so I will be continuing here if you still have any actual malware issues. Let me know how the land lies with regards to malware.
