CPU to AGP controller failure

OS-Vista

Device Manager--system devices,--Via Cpu to Agp controller,....the following message appears,

"This device is not working properly because windows cannot load the drivers required for this device (code 31)"

Can anyone please advise on what I can do to correct this problem, I do not know what device it it refers to,as every thing seems to work OK

 

try removing/uninstalling it and restarting the PC, sometimes that can sort out things like this.

 

I did a little research, and it appears that you can disable this without any ill effects if it's causing problems, but I'd do this as a last resort. Try using VoiD's tip above, if that doesn't work, download the VIA 4-in-1 from here:

I took VoiD`s advise and installed the problem controller,and there does not appear to be any problem to date.

Correction, should have read "uninstalled AGP controller"
