CPU upgrade

    im thinking to upgrade the CPU i have now. ( a athlonXP 2700+ ). My motherboard has a nForce2 ultra400 chipset... does it support Barton core CPU's ?

    I'm pretty sure it does, but you can double check by reading your motherboard manual or going to the manufacturers website.

    However, you won't really see a huge difference in my opinion.

    Changing CPU's generally doesn't give you the best performance and value for money that other components do like for example more memory and faster hard drives etc.
