cpu usage at 80% when idle

    my dad's computer has 80%-90% cpu usage while idle.

    in task manager, the process using the cpu is not there, so I had to run process explorer.

    There's 2 processes using all the juice: Hardware Interrupts and Deferred Procedure Calls.

    Everything's fine in safe mode, though.

    anyone knows what's going on?

    yeah it's not malware. turns out, the wireless card had some issues. I replaced it, and it's all fine.... for now....
