cpuinfo

Hi there,

Can somebody please help???
I downloaded this...

And now and can't get rid of it..It's not in my add/ remove software list and everytime I try to delete it I get a message saying "Cannot delete cpuinfo it is being used by another person or progeam" I've tried to delete it when started in safe mode but I keep getting the same message....
Please can somebody help.

Try doing it in safe mode.

 

Interesting, I just downloaded it myself, ran the program, then deleted it with no problems.

What OS are you running? If it is "in use", make sure it isn't running in the task manager.

Or, just reboot, then delete the file, or use Tourangh suggestion.

I've already tried deleting in in safe mode and when I open up my task manager there's no sign if it.....

I'm running Windows XP sp2

I downloaded CPUinfo yesterday, tried to 'run' it but nothing shows - ?
AMD Athlon 64, Win XP Pro x64, IE7, etc, etc.
It does show in Control box so readily removable, BUT, why no-show of info ?
