Crash

    I have a compaq presario
    AMD sempron 3000+
    512MB pc3200 memory
    120GB 7200rpm hard drive
    It just crashed. When I try to install the recovery discs I created all goes well until I restart and I get- \windows\system32\config\system file corrupted I guess this is a problem with the recovery disc, any suggestions? Thanks in advance

    I got the exact link from someone on another forum. It was amazing not only did I not loose anything I did'nt need to reinstall XP. thank's though just to let you know it worked.
