Is the t function in either Win 7 or Win 10 that lets you copy the file names in a directory (folder) to a text file that can then be used to print the list of those files? Or better yet, a small app that Is free that I can D/L and use for that simple function.

I have 7 USB attach remote disks that hold most of my files. I can't always remember what files are on which remote. If I had a list (either printed or stored on my C: drives (I have 4 PCs - 1 XP, 2 win7, 1Win10 connected on a 4 way switch to a common display/mouse. All have two USB ports on the front where i can connect any of the 7 USB remotes.

Sometimes I have to try all 7 before I find the one that have the files I'm looking for.
If I had a list of the files on each remote I could just look it up to determine which remote has the file(s) I seek.
As you probably know "highlighting" and then copy & paste can only be done one file at a time.
    Can anyone suggest a solution?
    Thanks,

Also you can open cmd, *navigate to the directory and type tree /a /f >output.txt
    * In explorer hold shift and right click and select "Open command window here"

Foogoo, you beat me to the punchline, but I didn't know about the shift-select option. Thanks! :)
