    Hi

What is your PC make and model if an OEM (Dell, HP, Acer etc)? or if a Home Build then whats the motherboard make and model (Gigabyte, MSI, Intel etc)?

If you dont know these then follow the below as written,

Please open up Device Manager and tell us if you have any yellow ! marks by any device?

Try the following and make sure you are logged in as the Administrator, then update the Windows Installer from HERE XP one is the bottom of the list (mainly as your still at SP2 so you maybe missing some crucial files and updates) then disable your Security software (antivirus, firewall and Spybot if installed) then install the drivers from HERE

    Hi

Dont think the 6to4 adapters are the cause here as they are for tcp/ip, but you could fix that possibly by manually installing the driver for those

Open Device Manager, click the menu Action > Add Legacy Hardware > Next > 'Install the hardware that I manually select from a list' > Network adapters > Microsoft > Microsoft 6to4 Adapter > click Next and follow the wizard until the driver has finished installing, then reboot.

As you have SP2 for Vista already install and if you keep your Windows fully upto date then you should have the lastest Windows Installer already, then the Creative Drivers for Vista are HERE (I'm guessing you have 32bit Windows Vista if not and you have 64bit then do let us know)

    64bit Creative drivers HERE

Note: it maybe worth installing the Creative Drivers as an administrator as the error you are getting while covers a broad spectrum of causes is a access denied one so makes me think that parts of the driver cannot install into certain locations in Windows as they dont have permissions to do so, so rigth click the setup file for the driver and choose Run as Administrator.
