    Hello everyone,

I just bought the Creative X-FI Titanium Fatal1y professional and put in the pic-e slot and BOOM..windows 7 locks up right at login screen. I reformatted to windows XP thinking there was something wrong with 7. Same issue. My Friend was telling me that a lot of the people that were having problems with this card have MSI boards. I have an MSI K9A2 CF. Is there a workaround or patch or something of that nature that will fix this? Or is there something in my bios that i need to set?

Only suggestion i have, is to disable the onboard sound card in the bios, then try booting. and make sure it's securely in the slot.

Sorry for the belated response. I did make sure it was secure in the slot. I also tried both the X16 and the X1 slot. I tried these several times. The problem is that once the drive loads windows completely locks up. Anyone have any ideas on how i can fix this?
