Hi,anyone out there with a monitor glare filter? I put one on my crt monitor today--after about an hour online i noticed any reflections from the screen were now doubled---the glare filter was reflecting anything in the background in addition to the reflection from the monitor itself.
Needless to say,the double images were giving me a subliminal headache--so i removed it.

I would rather have the glare than seeing double images--although removing the filter also removes any radiation protection.

Anyone have a solution to this problem?
    THANKS TO ANY RESPONDERS

Tried 'em at work years ago, with similar underwhelming results. Plastic ones add their own glare, and the very fine fabric-like ones tended to fuzzy-up the image slightly. Best cure for glare is to change either the lighting, or the angle of your screen, where that's possible.

As far as radiation, how old is your monitor? Most of them for the last few years meet the MPRII (low radiation) spec or better, and radiation is not a problem. Advertising glare shields for radiation protection is a scare tactic, not a useful feature.
