Lenovo Laptop T61 with ThinkVantage

Thanks for a great website:

I ran READ & RUN ME FIRST - Malware Removal Guide all the way to Step #6 and the Windows XP Cleaning Procedure. I downloaded and ran SUPERAntispyware, which found two problems; they were quarantined and I rebooted.

Cryptor? has disallowed your SUPERAntispyware from reopening after a reboot. After I discovered the virus, I continually get the Windows Firewall notice of a malicious program attempting to run, I click block (or something like that) and then Move to Virus Vault in AVG.

The virus also disallows MalwareBytes Anti-Malware operation.

Any help will be appreciated.

The next day my wife had the Laptop at school and had a popup of some sort of security warning. She called me and unfortunately I did not get all the info of what it was. The message was something like: do you want to block this alert as a power user? I just told her to do something like block or delete it, put it in the AVG vault, and empty the vault.

I ran the 'puter 5 hours last night and had no problems scanning with your SAS and Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware programs. When the virus was resident SAS would stop running after a few seconds and would not load the second time.

The only problem I have now is the SP#3 for SQL Server cannot be installed.
