CS:S Crash help

    As i was playing CS:S when a server changes maps my game all of a sudden gets minimized and a box titled Engine Error pops up with these words in it:Internal driver error in IDirect3DDevice9::present

    Do you have the latest DirectX drivers and drivers for your video card? If so have you emailed Valve's technical support?

    Yes, i have the most recent Directx drivers and the most recent drivers for my video card. I would contact Valve tech support but they just never respond because they have horrible tech support.

    Dont know if this will help but I had the same problem. I had to use a driver cleaner ( got it from driver tools) and then reinstall my drivers. All went fine from then on.

    I have exactly the same problem, but using a driver cleaner and then reinstalling the video card drivers didn't work..
