csrss.exe freezes system daily

This happens exactly once a day. I haven't found a correlation to any particular program. Help?

 

First have a look in your device manager to see if your getting any errors, or try downloading this program from this link http://www.majorgeeks.com/ProcessInfo_d5288.html and you can determine whether or not it is malware or not that is affecting this particular .exe process !

Thanks. I ran the program and it kept coming up with error messages like, "Application has generated an exception that could not be handled. Process ID = 0x52f0 (212320)." The processes and thread were different each time.

 

Home, Windows XP. No. I'll do that now.

 

I don't seem to have AdminTools in the Control Panel.

I run windows ME and I too have the csrss.exe error showing at least one time a day.

 

I now think it freezes when I'm running a couple of programs, then, in the background, others programs are trying to update, and too much is going on.
