CTFMONB/Pakes.CSG

    My wife was doing some searching for birthday party ideas (or at least that's what she said ;) )and hit a site that installed this trojan. Found k.smith's post with same trojan. Followed all the info (as well as cleaned everything and ran virus scan, AVG 8, also removed the ctfmonb.bmp and blackster.scr files) and believe I have it removed but wanted to have someone take a look at the logs to make sure. Let me know if there is any other info i can provide. Thanks for the time and attention.

    Welcome to Major Geeks!

    You did not run ALL of the READ & RUN ME as required. You have multiple antivirus programs installed and that is one of the first things the READ ME states you must not do. Either uninstall AVG8 or uninstall Norton 360 immediately.

    Then attach the requested logs from SUPERAntispyware, Malwarebytes Anti-Malware, and then a new log from MGtools. You do not need to re-run ComboFix but note that you did not follow the instructions for installing and running it.
