Ctrl+Alt+Del Does not bring up Task Manager!

I have some virus that does not allow me to open up task manager by using ctrl+alt+del, or running task manager from "run". When I try and run task manager from run, a message pops up that says task manager is being used from another program. Any ideas???

It is a new computer and is running perfectly except for not being able to bring up task manager. I was able to bring up task manager a few days ago.
