Cultural differences stats

K guys, you always help me out 'cause you're internet gurus - here's a new prob:

I've spent the last couple weeks trying to find statistics on clinical depression rates in different countries around the world. Basically I want to compare the depression rates around the world and then try and correlate those rates to other things. All I need is the depression rate. I decided to make this a final project this semester at my uni but it looks like I chose something that is very hard (if not impossible).

Any help out there?

second note: how about populations by continent

 

Populations by country...you'll need to add the appropriate countries together to get continents stats.

This is probably more helpful as it does depression and populations stats, though it doesn't state what types of depression are included. Be careful that you compare the same year for population and depression figures or your stats will be inaccurate. Also depression figures will be inaccurate for asian countries as the illness is not "accepted" in those countries so readily.
